Grounds Maintenance Services
By Snoe Leppard

My husband works at the local lawn tennis club as a coach and he has coached some really fantastic players in his time. Although none of them have reached Wimbledon standards as yet, they have still gone on to do him proud in competitions across the country. Unfortunately at the moment, the club`s courts are looking decidedly bad and my husband as asked if he could get some Grounds Maintenance Services in to have a look at them and try to make them better. He knows a few Grounds Maintenance Services people and he told the tennis club that it would not necessarily cost very much at all. However, the club have told him that they cannot afford Grounds Maintenance Services at the moment and, in any case, they don`t believe that the courts are in a bad enough state to warrant it. My husband cannot believe this and, I must say, I have never seen him so angry. As he says, the money they charge for membership means that they are in a very lucrative position and he thinks it is totally false economy on their behalf. I hope he manages to change their mind, for his benefit and the benefit of his pupils.

Rugby players will be able to improve their on-pitch performances if they take part in regular training sessions. As with all things in life the more you train at something the more accomplished that you become. A host of rugby training equipment can certainly help players to hone their skills and at many practice sessions you`ll see this equipment being put through its paces. There are tackle bags that can be used for specific training exercises and players can improve their abilities when it comes to taking down the opponent. Used as part of dedicated training sessions the tackle bags can be extremely effective. Training bibs always come in handy during practice sessions and they become essential items of rugby training equipment at many clubs. The players can be divided into separate teams wearing different coloured bibs and then practice matches can be played. Quite a thirst can be built up on the pitch and that`s why you`ll see water bottles at the side of the pitch. They are another example of typical items of rugby training equipment that can be used by players as they work on improving their abilities. On-pitch performances will be greatly enhanced if time is spent practicing with the help of the training equipment.
