My younger brother has just left school and he is, at the moment, looking for a job in Grounds Maintenance. He is interested in Grounds Maintenance because he has always loved tinkering around in the garden and he also loves being outdoors. We as a family are all agreed that Grounds Maintenance is the ideal job for my brother and we fervently hope that he will be able to find gainful employment in this area. However, with things as they are at the moment we are beginning to worry. Out of all of his friends who left school at the same time as him, only one of them has managed to secure a job doing exactly what he wants to do. We all know that times are hard with the current financial climate and I am even on the verge of trying to persuade my brother to go to college for a year or two in the hope that things will change for the better in the meantime. If he does this, my reasoning is that he will have more qualifications to offer a prospective employer and he will also be competing in a more favourable job market.

Tandem jumps are just a fantastic experience and it is not something you do not want to miss out on as there is nothing like it in the world. It is actually a very safe sport and is enjoyed by thousands across the country. Tandem jumps are fun to do as a one off and it is also a great hobby to do as you can take it much further if you love it that much. Technically the jump is called a `Tandem Skydive`. It is a Skydive because you will be freefalling through the air without the parachute open for several thousand feet it is in tandem because you will be harnessed to a parachute instructor at all times throughout the fall. This is the only way you can jump from such an altitude without spending thousands of pounds becoming a freefall parachutist. This is literally the chance of a lifetime! This kind of jump is also much less demanding than the traditional `static line` jump as the jump and training are completed in one day and your instructor will control your landing for you so you have nothing to think about apart from enjoying the experience!
